American History Expert Says ‘Trump’s Brain is Rotting in Front of Us’

The professor says that even comparing him to Joe Biden in terms of mental fitness is "wrong."

It’s crazy, how American politics creeps into the rest of the world. I mean, I know the President of America is always referred to as “The Leader of the Free World,” but for the president of this country to make an impact in other countries, on its’ citizens, is absolutely wild to me.

Imagine if the Royal Family somehow had an impact on your life here in America. Yes, this is the internet, not America, but I write for this audience because I know you guys know what I’m talking about.

There’s no way I could write an article about King Charles without extensive research.

At the Hay Festival in Wales, a professor and culture expert was invited to speak on Trump. In WALES, where you couldn’t pronounce the name of more than two or three cities.

Granted, she is American, and thus qualified to speak on American affairs. But what she had to say was definitely not flattering for the former president.

After one panelist, American author Lionel Shriver (no, a lady) who lives in Portugal, said that she saw little difference between Trump and Biden and that she hated them both, professor Sarah Churchwell had to speak up.

“Trump is criminally insane and it makes me feel insane that we are having a debate about whether this man should be leader of the United States. It is so clearly delusional.

It’s deeply worrying and frightening that people say, ‘I can’t decide between them, but on balance I think I’d vote Trump because Biden is worse. What are you talking about? Trump literally said two weeks ago that Hannibal Lecter was a great guy. And he said wind turbines were wiping out the whale population. His brain is rotting in front of us.

And then you have people saying that Biden is senile. No, he’s not senile. You may disagree with his policies, but Biden is not senile. It is ludicrous.

Donald Trump has announced he will be a dictator, that he will suspend the constitution, that he will deport 10 million people… He wants to suspend American democracy. It is true and it is real. And the idea that there is an equivalence between that and Joe Biden is frankly an appalling thing to say or to think. It is dangerous and it is wrong.”

Another panelist (non-American) suggested that it would have been better if Trump HAD won in 2020, not because he would have been a better leader than Biden, but because he would now be a “lame duck” president, and have been “defanged.”

Trump doesn’t need fangs to cripple the economy, ignore pandemics, and inspire violence. He just uses words.
