Yes, there is such a thing as “heightism,” and as a 5’10 guy, I am not “helped” by the advantage, but I’m not hurt by it, either, being one inch higher than the normal adult male. But unlike certain things where we’re assured that size doesn’t matter, height certainly DOES matter, whether it is the boardroom or the bedroom. I am NOT saying that guys have it worse than women, God, no, that’s absurd. But it’s real. (And I’ve done fine, thanks for caring).

Ron DeSantis knows it. He has been spotted in “heels” of some sort lately, but they are now disputed as “Cuban boots,” which makes sense for the Italian DeSantis from Dunedin, Florida. According to the Daily Beast:

“You want a picture of his boots?” Hanson said at the beginning of a video from the tussle. “Do you understand what a Cuban boot is?”

“It’s weird, dude,” Cardillo then interjected. “He doesn’t know what boots are, we found that out.”

The Beast went on to tell us that:

Bruesewitz’s lawyer, Joseph McBride—who was present during the hostile exchange at CPAC—claimed in a phone interview that his client began the interaction cordially before Cardillo, in a “very juvenile-like fashion, started coming at Alex, and then the other guy joined in.”

“It’s all fun and games, it’s just like people are trading barbs, obviously, you have people on the Trump side and you have people who are on the DeSantis side—healthy competition, nothing wrong with that,” McBride added.

Oh, they’re just warming up. Wait until DeSantis v. Trump really heats up. We have probably never had a campaign between two guys willing to go lower, with or without international partners. Pull up a seat, and get some popcorn, but never ever forget that size matters, the size of the vote that is.
