MAGA Madison Cawthorn Just Implied Americans Would Shoot Their Way Out of Strict COVID Restrictions

There are two countries on earth that had been remarkably successful in keeping COVID out, Australia and New Zealand. We admit that being isolated in the Southwest Pacific doesn’t hurt, but in this modern age, one can be in L.A. and land in Sydney just 15 hours later. We had an ocean on each side of us, which didn’t seem to help.

How have they had such success at keeping disease rates so low? Remarkably, the people in these nations elected representatives to their government, including a prime minister. These elected individuals then talked things over with scientists about the best balance in protecting society while also having society continue to function as best as possible, people getting food, medicines, civil services, etc. They then came up with a set of fairly stringent rules, lives were at stake.

And the Australian people (similar to New Zealand) then just went about following the rules, as if that is how a country could work.

When it came time for vaccinations, the Australian government has done nowhere near as well and Australian citizens are getting highly frustrated with the continued lockdowns in a nation where only about 25% of the population is vaccinated.

For our purposes, the point is that the Australians are now frustrated with continued strict lockdowns and poor vaccine distribution. Madison Cawthorn wants you to know that such a thing will never happen in the United States because we have so many g*ns, no one would dare try to impose good public health restrictions that briefly took away people’s “freedoms,” even though Americans give up some freedoms all the time if agreed upon for a greater good.

Cawthorn says the American government is afraid of imposing harsh restrictions because big bad guys like Cawthorn will sh00t government officials attempting to enforce them:

See? We might need to sh00t or threaten to sh00t people in the majority (elected officials) that want to take away a freedom with which Cawthorn disagrees. He will be the final arbiter of what is and is not fair with respect to laws and rules, he and his g*n.

Australians just have to talk it out. Oh, and compare the last 20 years of Australian g*n incidents to any three-month period in the U.S.

Tradeoffs.
