Bizarre Bombshell Interview: Mark Meadows Says Trump is Holding Cabinet Meetings at Bedminster

It was just yesterday that the political landscape shook beneath our feet when notes take by an assistant to acting-Attorney General Rosen recorded that Trump told Rosen to simply declare that fraud occurred during the election (somewhere, we presume) and leave the rest to Trump and Congressional Republicans. We still think that the bigger story is the inclusion of the Congressional Republicans because everyone already knew that evidence existed tying Trump to a campaign to find fraud. The fact that Republicans in Congress were mentioned must send a pucker through those who are “in on it,” because they’re now suddenly part of the conspiracy.

So why is Trump meeting with his cabinet in a manner to go “forward in a real way” and what does that even mean? No one appears to know. Meadow said:

Well, we met with several of our cabinet members tonight, we actually had a follow-up member, meeting with some of our cabinet members, and as we were looking at that, we were looking at what does come next. I’m not authorized to speak on behalf of the president, but I can tell you this Steve. We wouldn’t be meeting tonight if we weren’t making plans to move forward in a real way, with President Trump at the head of that ticket.

Okay, he references 2024 in the “ticket,” it appears, to at least make it sound like this is all about the election in 2024. And yet, perhaps it’s escaped Trump’s attention, but it is 2021 and the only thing he’s talked about is 2020 and the rigged election. Why would he be looking at 2024 and talking about it with these “losers”?

We worry (speculation) that there are two alternative reasons for the meeting: One, Trump knows that the heat is one, big time now and that they all best get their story straight. (If he only met with DOD, DHS, and DOJ, it might look worse. Two, Trump really is looking at reinstatement in August or at least a push at it.

Of those possibilities, we believe number one is the most likely, and it’s also highly likely that Trump wants to move forward in a real way. But the Trump camp is weird enough that Meadows could actually be telling the truth. So we will see, but it is a bombshell bizarre interview. Any of the three possibilities are huge news.
