The Dallas private jet flying rioter, Katie Schwab, is no more or less culpable than anyone else trying to crash into the Capitol building to do what she did on January 6th. She does serve a purpose, though. There is a stereotype for the average angry MAGA (and we’re guilty, too) that MAGAs are the white poor, the people who believe that they’re being left behind because “everyone” in society is starting, barely, to get a shot at life. They have to blame someone and it’s not going to be corporate America or the conservative government. They will vote for the person that hates the idea of lifting everyone up as much as they do.

That is the stereotype. But like all stereotypes, it’s dangerous, because it overlooks many people and really isn’t ever wholly applicable. Schwab represents the wealthy white MAGA, angry that anyone would dare to get ahead. Her rage came out as clearly as anyone’s on January 6th and she’s thus been slapped with a new charge. From the Dallas Observer:

“The government slapped with an additional charge for her alleged involvement in the siege, According to court documents, Schwab ‘willfully and knowingly engaged in an act of physical vi0lence’ on Capitol grounds on Jan. 6, when supporters of former President Donald Trump stormed the building, egged on by Trump’s false claims that the presidential election was stolen from him.

That is a big one. Crimes of vi0lence have significantly higher penalties and can really pound her if she ever picks up any kind of other crime.

“Nearly 500 people have been arrested nationwide for their alleged participation in the riot, said Melinda Urbina, spokeswoman for the FBI’s Dallas office,” said the report. “Many of those charged call North Texas home. Urbina said so far 24 people have been arrested across her office’s division, which covers much of the state’s top half. The last person to be arrested was a Lubbock man who turned himself in earlier this month.”

So the arrests aren’t limited to any particular “group” other than the people there that horrid day. We should point out that some MAGA politicians have said that there were “leftist” agitators in the crowd. Over 500 arrests later and not a one didn’t have a long MAGA history. Some MAGA pols need to be investigated as to what they knew that day.
