Mike Pence Busted Quietly Adding Hate Group Leader to Advisory Board of his New Organization

Never mind for a moment that Mike Pence is a walking hate group, or at least he’s a walking hate group when accompanied by his own personal “Karen,” in wife Karen Pence. Karen Pence seems like a perfectly nice wife and mom – hence, his pet name for her, “mother.” But as we’ve said before, Mike’s approval ratings would go up 20 points if the whole situation was reversed and Karen demurely referred to Mike as “daddy.” All of this is perfectly well and good until one remembers that Karen worked at a school that specifically banned LGTBQ faculty. Karen was the outward expression of Mike’s values.

Until now.

Mike is in the process of forming a PAC called Advancing American Freedom.*

* We presume that this freedom of which Mike speaks is limited to Christian heterosexual MAGA males married to a Karen whom they call mother. The purpose of “Advancing American Freedom” might well be ensuring that every American outside that subgroup enjoys fewer freedoms.

In case there is any confusion as to the underlying purpose of Mike’s PAC, Mike added Mike Farris, the president and CEO of the group Alliance Defending Freedom. You will not be shocked to hear that in 2016, the Southern Poverty Law Center declared the Alliance Defending Freedom at hate group.

The ADF certainly earned the title, according to Rawstory:

“The SPLC lists ADF as a hate group because it has supported the idea that being LGBTQ+ should be a crime in the U.S. and abroad and believes that is OK to put LGBTQ+ people in prison for engaging in consensual sex,” SPLC explained. “It has also supported laws that required the forced sterilization of transgender Europeans.”

In other words, they torture people. That is hateful.

“ADF has spread lies about the LGBTQ+ community. It has, for example, linked being LGBTQ+ to ped*ph*lia and claimed that a “homosexual agenda” will destroy society. ADF tries to couch its rhetoric in benign-sounding phrases, but the truth is that it works to dehumanize LGBTQ+ people and restrict their rights for being who they are.”

This is particularly ugly. As a general rule, the LGTBQ members of society are among the groups least likely to abuse children, to the point that the rate is almost zero. We will leave aside the groups considered the highest risk.

Mike has some other winners serving on the Board: Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey, Ambassador Callista Gingrich, former Sen. Rick Santorum, Kellyanne Conway, Larry Kudlow, and actor Kirk Cameron. We would like to party with that crowd.

For some reason, we don’t believe that Mike will be bothered by the fact that he’s employing leaders of hate groups. After all, Mike and Karen have sort of led the way in that regard for years.
