Revisit One Year Ago: Watch as Kayleigh ANGRILY Snarls That Diseases Like COVID Won’t Come Here

CPAC rightly sucked up all media oxygen since last Thursday. We spent four days watching the far-right talk about their plans to take this country even further right and do it by any means necessary. They complained about the fact that all legal means to determine the winner in an election, the vote, the states, the electoral college, the courts, congress, all legal means failed them (because they lost), and thus they’ll need to do more next time. There was no way to interpret the statement as anything but a commitment to go further next time, “Whatever it takes,” up to and including vi0lence. They have already tried it. It will be worse next time, many commenters stated that CPAC’s message ensured more insurrections into the future.

So it deserved every minute of coverage. We have a responsibility to protect democracy and one can only do that by listening to what the fascists are saying.

But it also means that we lost track of some of the most abhorrent things said during that same time period. Thursday marked one year since Kayleigh McEnany made the most shamelessly political, most shamelessly wrong, and most shamelessly hateful statement that should haunt her for life. On February 25, 2020, Kayleigh aggressively, angrily, told a television audience that under President Trump, we would NOT see COVID in this country (it was already in, so we presume she meant ‘not that bad’) and that we would not see terr0rism in this country, and isn’t that refreshing after Obama.

Kayleigh’s hateful statement came while she was Trump campaign spokesperson, approximately six weeks prior to becoming White House Press Secretary. In full:

(Said Angrily and urgency): “We will not see diseases like the Coronavirus come here. We will not see terr0rism come here. And isn’t that refreshing when contrasting it with the awful presidency of President Obama. “

As of right now, 520,000 people have lost their lives. Trump got COVID, Melania got COVID, Junior got COVID, Kimberly got COVID, Kayleigh McEnany got COVID. Trump incited the second most severe terr0rist attack on this country and the worst terr0rist attack on democracy in our lifetimes. Under President Obama, one person died of Ebola, a healthcare worker who came back from Africa to the United States for treatment. Four Americans total contracted Ebola, all in Africa. Three recovered in the United States. President Obama followed the recommendations of the CDC by the letter.

Per the Washington Post fact check, there were no foreign terr0rist attacks against the United States under Obama. There were mass sh00tings carried out by homegrown radicals, just like Walmart under Trump.

Kayleigh McEnany should be ashamed of herself and should withdraw into obscurity. Her hatred of this country, or at least half of it, blinded her, and she remains a far greater threat than any foreign terr0rist threat. See the tweet in response to Kayleigh’s ever so proud tweet, always ready to share her religiosity, and perfection. Underneath, we see the godless Kayleigh, the real Kayleigh.
