Rep. Steve Cohen Admits He Saw Rep. Lauren Boebert Giving a Tour Before Capitol Riot

This subject warrants a lot of caution.

Anyone who has ever seen any type of criminal investigation, been involved in some contested lawsuit, or even read much of anything, knows that things are not always as they appear and some assumptions get made almost subconsciously.

Still, one shouldn’t ignore blinking red lights, either.

Lauren Boebert, the Republican MAGA Congresswoman from Colorado, who is in her third week in Congress is a blinking red light. This is not to say that she’s guilty of any crime bigger than being a huge Trump supporter. But more and more circumstantial evidence is piling up. LINK:

Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN) said Monday that he saw QAnon-curious freshman Congresswoman Lauren Boebert (R-CO) leading a “large group” through a tour of the Capitol in the days before the riots. Cohen said he does not know whether anyone in the crowd later took part in the violent Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol. Democrats have alleged that a GOP colleague gave a “reconnaissance” tour of the Capitol the day before the mob stormed the building. Over the weekend, Boebert denied she was the member—even though no one had accused her by name—saying she did not guide “any outside groups of ‘insurrectionists.’”

And:

This is the same woman who felt the need to tweet out that Nancy Pelosi had been taken out of the House chamber despite the fact that many in leadership went with her. Boebert named Pelosi and didn’t follow it with something like “this has to stop” or “this is dangerous” or “this is getting so bad that …” No. Just, “they took the Speaker out,” which could be interpreted as “Don’t bother looking here.”

But again, just because we don’t like Lauren Boebert and just because there is a lot of smoke surrounding her doesn’t mean she conspired with the people who raided the Capitol. It does mean she needs to be investigated for conspiring with the people who raided the Capitol.
