We are tired of this woman. But now that people are on to her it seems like each passing day reveals more deep and disturbing details. The Daily Beast ran a big profile yesterday on her arrests, and follows it up this morning with her association militias. As more and more information comes out, the more people feel compelled to report.

We cannot go so far as to say that she needs to be removed from Congress. But while she knows that she’s facing close scrutiny and investigation she continues to act recklessly and defiantly. She also has very strong ties to those groups that one would strongly associate with the riots at the Capitol.

From The Daily Beast:

Three Percent discount: Robert Gieswein, who was seen in photos both before and during the riot allegedly clashing with police officers, wielding a baseball bat, and moving throughout the Capitol alongside other rioters, posted a photo of himself and three other men in front of Boebert’s bar, Shooters Grill, brandishing an assault rifle and flashing the hand sign for the Three Percenters, a far-right militia.

The picture is from 2018 and since Boebert wasn’t involved in a run for Congress back then, and it was two years ago, one might say that’s a bit of a stretch. It is. But not that much, they were coalescing around one of the worst aspects of the Trump MAGA movement.

There is more:

The Colorado Times Recorder found a post in a since-deleted Three Percenter militia Facebook group which called for members to assist in providing “perimeter security” for the would-be congresswoman while she was campaigning in Pueblo, Colorado, in late July. The same post claimed that the group had been invited by Boebert’s campaign.

If it is true that Boebert’s campaign invited the Three Percenters, and since the post was deleted there is some reason to believe they might have, that is deeply concerning. There is no reason to invite a well-known hate group, militia to come to a campaign event, never mind provide official security.

There is one last thing that we find more enlightening than revolting:

“And that’s when you explained to me Colorado’s open carry laws and then I purchased the [Taurus Judge handgun] and began to open carry and you began to educate me on how important it is to defend yourself, the right that we have to keep and bear arms.”

This drives us crazy. She doesn’t have a personal “right” to wear her gun at her side. She has a right to keep some types at home, but there’s nothing in the Amendment nor a court case saying she has the right to wear it on her side. Colorado could ban open carry tomorrow. If a state banned open carry altogether, Boebert would be committing a crime.

Here is what we know. A woman with an open association with the fringe-right militias of the type that sacked the Capitol, a woman who specifically said, “I am the militia,” and said “today is 1776” is someone that we’re absolutely convinced needs to be investigated not only by the FBI but also by her fellow House members, including investigation by her fellow MAGAs. Only the House can expel a House member, though they almost never do, no matter how bad.

Marjorie Taylor-Greene is cuckoo, Boebert seems more calculating and dangerous than “crazy.” She seems quite willing to “shoot” for her cause. That’s what “militias” do. With each passing day, people are digging up more and more deeply disturbing stuff.
