Americans Disgusted and ANGRY After Trump Uses Marine One to Shuttle His Family to Golf Course

One is almost taken aback upon hearing that Donald Trump took his sons golfing. Perhaps he made them pay greens fees and the cart fees, we’ll never know (unlikely.) But that’s almost … normal.

It would be normal if Junior wasn’t just now overcoming the COVID virus (perhaps still contagious, hard to tell), it would be normal if Donald wasn’t in several lawsuits he maintains are huge and will allow him to continue the presidency into a second term which would put him in a position where he should (theoretically) be inside a war room with “good” attorneys making a serious attempt to overturn the election. Obviously, that’s not what the lawsuits are about and Donald Trump doesn’t like to work. The lawsuits are about causing chaos and casting doubt on the outcome, thus deeply cutting into many Americans’ trust in elections – a necessary component of a functioning democracy. (Putin knows this, too.)

And it might be normal if the most horrific pandemic since 1918 wasn’t about to get much worse in the next two weeks, threatening the nation’s healthcare infrastructure.

Other than all that, it is normal for a father to take his sons golfing. We notice that Barron wasn’t invited, or at least didn’t go (perhaps Barron declined). We once again feel some sympathy for Barron who never gets taken to a game, a rocket launch, golfing, to Europe, or whatever. Maybe he can’t stand his dad and refuses to go? We’re speculating too much.

According to the Daily Mail:

The president headed to Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia, just a day after a federal judge he appointed refused his campaign’s request to block Joe Biden from being certified as winner of Pennsylvania’s electoral votes.

Trump saluted two Marines in dress uniforms as he climbed from Marine One, wearing his red golf jacket and red ‘Make America Great Again’ cap with the number 45 embroidered on the side.

Yep, according to him some of the most critical lawsuits ever filed, alleging the worst fraud in American history are in litigation and yet “Let’s go golfing! I played well yesterday and there’s nothing I need to do for work!”

They are, of course, violating some major CDC recommendations by vacationing all together. (Golf has been deemed safe with social distance, which they likely didn’t maintain.) This is especially true of someone just coming off COVID, or at least one would think. Still, even everyone vacationing together violated the CDC recommendations for the nation. But the Trumps’ attitude seems to be “fck the CDC and their ridiculous recommendations!”

Don Jr. had declared in an Instagram video on Wednesday night that he is now COVID-free and he would be spending Thanksgiving with his family, just five days after announcing he had tested positive. Don Jr. had declared in an Instagram video on Wednesday night that he is now COVID-free and he would be spending Thanksgiving with his family, just five days after announcing he had tested positive.

I got cleared, happy to be healthy and we get to spend Thanksgiving the way it’s meant to be,’ he said.

The CDC recommended that everyone stays home and not travel, even families. COVID is at its worst levels ever and yet the Trumps’ are acting like people who need life “the way it’s meant to be,” an attitude that will end thousands of lives between now and the end of the year. So many people are just “sick of COVID” and hearing about it, so they’re living life the way it’s meant to be … for now. Many will die because of that attitude.

So even when Trump does something semi-normal and somewhat “nice,” he still does so in a way setting a terrible example for the rest of the nation and helps reinforce an attitude that kills. So there’s that. Of course, there is.

Americans were rightfully furious:
