Donald J. Trump, President of the United States, did not have a good day.

If anyone has trouble believing us, one need only watch his speech from Erie Pennsylvania this evening. It looked for all the world like Trump did not want to be there, and not because he preferred to be in Mar-a-Lago.

Normally he loves basking in the adoration of the cultists no matter where he might be, no matter the weather, location, whatever. It is his reason to live in many ways.

Tonight, as he has said on a few occasions, he said that “he didn’t need to do this” – meaning run for president. He also even said that he was somewhat offended that he even had to come to Erie Pennsylvania, that many people call home – and love. It is a very bad idea to put down anyone’s hometown:

He upset to be in Pennsylvania in the first place because under no circumstances did the Republicans believe that they would need to campaign in Pennsylvania so hard.

Plus, Melania was supposed to be with him, to remind him that he is supposed to appear happy (though how Melania does that is beyond us, Melania seems to specialize in looking unhappy). Unfortunately, Melania couldn’t make the trip because, despite getting COVID at the exact same time as Trump, Melania wasn’t feeling well enough to make the trip to Eerie.

And we haven’t covered HALF of what made this the shittiest day of Trump’s presidency! That is why we needed the perfect tweet below, as it captures what we cannot. We can only write and though we can convey a lot, we can’t convey it all – not like this:

And even THAT list isn’t half of what Trump has to worry about because a bunch of polls came out today showing Trump going down, and other polls came out today, showing COVID spiking, fast and hard.
