Justice Thomas’ Wife Ginni Goes NUTS Over Black Lives Matter Sign, ‘They Hate America!’

We have yet to figure out why Black Lives Matter is such a threat to conservatives. Of course, it’s not. The only threat is the demand to be treated equally and that just isn’t going to fly with racist, far-right, voters.

Speaking of which, Ginni Thomas isn’t happy at all with a small gesture toward Black Lives Matter in her small town. It doesn’t matter in the slightest that the blonde Ginni is married to a black man. Justice Thomas isn’t going to be shot while pulled over by a cop (though we suspect he’s been pulled over plenty in his tenure, only to drive away as a very powerful person). Ginni Thomas basically melted down when someone dared post a small sign in support of Black Lives Matter. From the Washington Post:

It was posted over the tiny Northern Virginia town’s Main Street, in a space mostly used to advertise community events, after residents proposed staging a protest like the ones that have swept the country since the death of George Floyd in the custody of Minneapolis police.

The gesture — which Mayor William R. Hollaway called “a first step” to beginning discussions of racial equity — drew mostly positive responses, according to the town clerk. But it prompted outrage from some residents of Fairfax County and nearby towns. Hollaway called the banner “the biggest controversy we’ve seen in many years.”

They admit it’s a small step and are hoping to promote discussion. Now who could possibly protest something like that? Glad you asked:

“BLM is a bit of a dangerous Trojan Horse and they are catching well-meaning people into dangerous posturing that can invite mob rule and property looting,” Ginni Thomas, who is white, wrote on June 24. “Let’s not be tricked into joining cause with radical extremists seeking to foment a cultural revolution because they hate America.”

Interesting. It is radical and extreme to seek a cultural revolution that demands equality.

Invite well-meaning people into mob rule? We have seen mob rule, it was when Trumpers invaded the capitol of Michigan loaded for a military battle, while police simply stood by. Ginni doesn’t seem very bothered by that mob rule. We wonder what’s different?

But there is some good news here. Ginni is increasingly in the minority, including in her little town:

Nearly all of the 16 people who spoke at the meeting said they supported it. Several described their relief and thankfulness that the overwhelmingly white town of about 300 residents had taken an anti-racist stance.

Oops.

It’s a new world, Ginni. Many of the good white people of this country have finally come around to seeing that things must get better and are standing side to side with the good black people of this country and we’re demand a lot more than discussion.
