Herman Cain Hospitalized With COVID-19 After Attending Trump’s Tulsa Rally Without a Mask

We don’t celebrate people getting sick with COVID, especially an elderly gentleman who is already hospitalized and isn’t guaranteed to get through it. Obviously no one is snickering upon hearing this story, or at least we aren’t.

But it is hard to feel very sorry for Herman Cain, the Republican firebrand, when it likely was picked up at Trump’s Tulsa rally just over a week ago. Cain knew the risks and ignored them for political gain, or to gain favor from Trump. Now he is paying the price, and it might be his life.

Trump is also a mother ffff … Trump knew this would happen. Inevitably, some people that attended the rally would get sick and likely some would die. Cain is just famous enough we’re hearing about it.

According to Rawstory:

In a statement on Thursday, a spokesperson for Cain said that he had been admitted to an Atlanta-area hospital.

“By Wednesday’s, July 1, Mr. Cain had developed symptoms serious enough that he required hospitalization,” the statement explained.

It sounds like Cain is lucky. People who require ventilators have a very poor recovery rate with COVID, at one point well over half the people who were intubated ended up dying. We don’t know yet whether that figure has improved with the new medications.

And no, there is no proof that Cain caught the virus at the Tulsa rally, but the timing is perfect, and the event seemed designed to spread the virus, no masks, lots of people crowded together, indoors, virus rising in the community, yelling …

We haven’t heard yet about the number of cases coming out of the rally – but now would be the time that people would start getting sick (like Cain), and it would take a week to compile the information. Additionally, the news cycle is loaded right now with more important developments.

But Trump and his team knew this would happen. Thankfully, it sounds like Cain will live. It would be sad (for his family, especially) if he died from the disease. However, it would be interesting to gauge the reaction – or lack thereof – from the Trump campaign.

Incidentally, there were plenty of other politicians at that rally, and they aren’t out of the woods yet.

And just to prove how much stupidity is out there still among the MAGA crowd, read this and have your breath taken away:

That is how people get sick. They don’t listen to doctors, they think they know better. It is “proven” that the regiment she just prescribed kills more people than it helps.

Unbelievable.
