Trump is Being Obliterated Online For His Disgusting Attacks on John McCain, ‘A Vile Human Being’
Donald Trump just can’t stop feuding with John McCain.
On Saturday, Trump attacked the late Republican senator from Arizona, who died last August, on Twitter for his role in the spread of the Steele Dossier, a series of memos written by a former British spy in 2016 that tied many in the Trump presidential campaign, including Trump himself, to collusion with Russia.
Trump quote-tweeted Ken Starr, the independent counsel who investigated then-President Bill Clinton, after Starr called the dossier a “very dark stain” on McCain’s legacy. Trump also criticized McCain’s vote against repealing Obamacare in 2017.
Spreading the fake and totally discredited Dossier “is unfortunately a very dark stain against John McCain.” Ken Starr, Former Independent Counsel. He had far worse “stains” than this, including thumbs down on repeal and replace after years of campaigning to repeal and replace!

Trump has had a mostly one-sided feud with McCain that dates back several years. McCain’s daughter, Meghan, responded to Trump, saying that “no one will ever love you” the way people loved her father.

Unfortunately, a good night’s sleep apparently didn’t help Trump forget about McCain. The president continued targeting the former Republican presidential nominee on Twitter on Sunday morning.
So it was indeed (just proven in court papers) “last in his class” (Annapolis) John McCain that sent the Fake Dossier to the FBI and Media hoping to have it printed BEFORE the Election. He & the Dems, working together, failed (as usual). Even the Fake News refused this garbage!

McCain’s family and closest friends, most representing the president’s own party, came to his defense in the wake of Trump’s renewed attacks.
“No one will ever love you the way they loved my father….” McCain’s daughter, Meghan, tweeted Saturday.
“I wish I had been given more Saturday’s with him,” she added. “Maybe spend yours with your family instead of on twitter obsessing over mine?”

Sen. Lindsey Graham, one of McCain’s closest friends in the Senate and now one of the president’s most reliable allies in Congress, defended his former colleague in a pair of tweets on Sunday.
“He stepped forward to risk his life for his country, served honorably under difficult circumstances, and was one of the most consequential senators in the history of the body,” Graham said. “Nothing about his service will ever be changed or diminished.”
Others felt the same, with tweets coming from both the right and the left:
You’re completely obsessed with McCain because you’ll never be half the man he was.
Let that insecurity go. You’re not fit to shine John McCain’s shoes.

John McCain is an American hero.
It's despicable that the President of the United States continues to insult, defame, and attack a dead American hero who can no longer stand up and defend himself.
Donald Trump is a COWARD!
Who is with me?

John McCain received a Silver Star, two Purple Hearts, a Distinguished Flying Cross, three Bronze Stars, and two Legion of Merit medals after his time in Vietnam.
Donald Trump received four draft deferments and alleged bone spurs. https://t.co/SD246QJSwa

Your not fit to wash John McCain’s socks. The more you attack him the more you look like a disgraceful clown. You look even worse now that he’s died.

John McCain was not a perfect man but he loved his county and dedicated his life to serving it. During his last days, he did not give in and stood up against Trump. Now for the second day, Trump continues to attack his memory.
RETWEET to honor the life of Senator McCain today! pic.twitter.com/ltNwETR2HM

.@realDonaldTrump knows he will never be even a sliver of the American John McCain was, so Trump's only recourse is to attack the war hero in hopes he can somehow wound his legacy. It's sick, disturbing, un-American and not presidential. #ImpeachTrump https://t.co/jQLzr46AVl

I was never a big supporter of John McCain's policies but I never questioned his patriotism or love of our nation. This latest attack by Trump shows us another example of the patriotism of John McCain. RIP knowing your still under Trump's skin and driving him batshit crazy.
