Trump Spotted Taking National Emergency Seriously By Visiting Omelette Bar and Golfing

On Friday morning Donald Trump declared a national emergency, citing the scary invasion of brown people coming over the southern border as the cause. Trump regaled us with stories of drug users and women taped up in the back of cars…SCARY STUFF!!!

But alas, the only “emergency” is that Trump needs his wall to win reelection, because if there was truly a national emergency, would our “president” be spending the weekend at his luxury compound in Palm Beach Florida?

This morning Trump’s motorcade headed to the Trump National Golf Club in West Palm Beach where he was spotted getting an omelette at the club’s omelette bar.

EMERGENCY.

One single trip to Mar-a-Lago, located on the ritzy island of Palm Beach off the east coast of the Sunshine State, costs taxpayers roughly $3.4 million, according to a Government Accountability Office report from early February.

Given that Trump has taken 19 trips to Mar-a-Lago during his presidency, that means he’s spent at least $64.6 million in taxpayer cash on those vacations, according to the Washington Post.

Trump and his wife Melania Trump arrived at Palm Beach International Airport at 6:35 p.m. on Friday evening and were greeted on the tarmac by a crowd of about 100 supporters. The first couple spent about 20 minutes signing autographs and talking to the crowd before heading directly to Mar-a-Lago. Nearby, the president’s Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney texted and talked on the phone while waiting for the motorcade’s departure.

Noticeably absent were other Trump family members, including the couple’s 12-year-old son, Barron, who usually travels with his parents to Mar-a-Lago during their winter weekend breaks.

Today is the 224th day for Trump at a Trump-owned property, and the 169th time at a Trump golf club since Trump has been president.

Just a quick reminder of the times when Trump slammed former President Barack Obama for golfing:
