Trump is Tweeting Right Now to Distract Everyone From Michael Cohen’s Congressional Hearing
Donald Trump has hit Twitter Wednesday morning at the same exact time his former lawyer and fixer is testifying in front of Congress.
We also have a pretty good feeling that Trump is sitting in front of the TV watching the testimony himself.
Trump tweeted, “Great meetings and dinner tonight in Vietnam with Kim Jong Un of North Korea. Very good dialogue. Resuming tomorrow!”

Then Trump tweeted a video showing his meeting with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un:

Earlier on Wednesday Trump tried to preemptively dismiss the role that Cohen played in both the Trump Organization and the Trump Campaign.
Trump wrote, “Michael Cohen was one of many lawyers who represented me (unfortunately). He had other clients also. He was just disbarred by the State Supreme Court for lying & fraud. He did bad things unrelated to Trump. He is lying in order to reduce his prison time. Using Crooked’s lawyer!”

While Trump prepared for his historic summit with Kim, a 20-page prepared testimony of Michael Cohen was released that reportedly revealed many explosive details including the possession of evidence that Trump committed crimes while sitting in the nation’s highest office and allegations that Trump was well aware of the Wikileaks dump of information damaging to the Hillary Clinton campaign.
Twitter quickly called Trump out for the distraction:
Good work. Now get some rest, big guy. No reason to stay on Twitter or watch tv the next few hours. https://t.co/aLfqzQGKFE
