Trump Has His ‘Fans’ Meet Him Upon His Arrival in Palm Beach to Stroke His Ego
The government shutdown is over — at least for now — and Donald Trump is back in Palm Beach, Florida, where he is spending the weekend at his Mar-a-Lago estate and getting in some golf time.
Trump arrived in Palm Beach Friday night at 6.54pm, and Trump emerged from the plane with his trusty black umbrella in hand (that he doesn’t know how to close), and with wife Melania and son Barron at his side.
In a nearby viewing pen at the airport, a crowd of several hundred supporters cheered as the Trump family descended the stairs to the tarmac.
There were cheers and brief chants of “USA! USA!” and “Build That Wall!” from the crowd.

Trump waved, pumped a fist and lifted his umbrella to greet the crowd as he descended the rolling staircase.
As the rain picked up, Trump walked to the waiting SUV without walking over to the pen, as he sometimes does….because it’s raining.
Ivanka Trump and her family then exited Air Force One as well a moment later, as well as Melania Trump’s parents who also hitched a ride on the people’s plane.
It was be a festive return for a President who used his solitude in the White House as a negotiating ploy during the government shutdown.
“I am all alone (poor me) in the White House,” he tweeted on Christmas Eve.
I am all alone (poor me) in the White House waiting for the Democrats to come back and make a deal on desperately needed Border Security. At some point the Democrats not wanting to make a deal will cost our Country more money than the Border Wall we are all talking about. Crazy!

Weeks later, he told Fox News, “I haven’t actually left the White House in months,” though he had ventured out for a surprise trip to Iraq and a speech in Louisiana.
“Basically, I’ve been here for many months in the White House,” he said about three weeks into the shutdown, the long stretches of time apparently feeling longer than they actually were.
The period made for a record-breaking stretch — both for furloughed federal workers, who endured the longest lapse in funding in history, and for Trump, who went the longest stretch of his presidency without playing golf.
On Saturday Trump wasted no time to go golfing, something he hasn’t done since Thanksgiving.

The presidential motorcade arrived at Trump National Club in Jupiter, Fla., at 9:13 am, where Trump was seen wearing golf attire.
Trump will spend Saturday and Sunday at his resort in West Palm Beach before returning to the White House on Sunday night to finalize preparations for the State Of The Union address next week.
In the meantime, Trump will host a lavish watch party for Super Bowl LIII on Sunday evening at nearby Trump International Golf Club in Palm Beach.
