Trump Just Stormed Out of Meeting with ‘Chuck and Nancy’ Claiming It Was a ‘Total Waste of Time,’ ‘Bye-Bye!’
Donald Trump met with Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer this afternoon in another attempt to end the government shutdown.
It didn’t go very well.
Schumer said that Trump slammed the table, asked Speaker Pelosi if she would support his wall and when she said no, he walked out and said “we have nothing to talk about”. The gathering lasted for roughly a half hour.
Soon after Trump took to Twitter.
Trump tweeted, “Just left a meeting with Chuck and Nancy, a total waste of time. I asked what is going to happen in 30 days if I quickly open things up, are you going to approve Border Security which includes a Wall or Steel Barrier? Nancy said, NO. I said bye-bye, nothing else works!”

The president met with congressional leaders at the White House to discuss border security, which has been at the center of a partial government shutdown that has lasted 19 days and counting.
Twitter had some thoughts:
Schumer and Pelosi basically confirmed this. Schumer described it as a "temper tantrum" that was "unbecoming of the presidency." https://t.co/5ZHLjw6qEc

Schumer said you walked out of their meeting with you. You are an orange baby.

Of course it's going to be a waste of time if you just spout the same old lies over and over again and expect smart people to believe them.
