Trump Just Posted New ‘Game of Thrones’ Meme About His Border Wall — This Is Embarrassing
Donald Trump just released a new “Game of Thrones” inspired meme on his official Instagram page Thursday, this time in support of his plan for a wall along the U.S.- Mexico border.
The picture features Trump’s face superimposed over an artist’s rendering of the metal slat fencing that the Department of Homeland Security has considered for installation along the border if Congress approves funding for the president’s border security proposal.

Trump’s use of the meme comes just a day after a printout of a previous “Game of Thrones”-inspired photo originally created to advertise the Trump administration’s actions regarding Iran was printed out and displayed during a Cabinet meeting.

Despite the poster’s prominent position in Wednesday’s meeting, Trump did not address sanctions or the poster, and White House officials were unable to explain why it was in the room.
Many who saw the post noted that Trump’s choice to link his border security proposal to “Game of Thrones” seemed odd, given that The Wall in the hit HBO show was destroyed in the final scene of the latest season of the show, and it certainly didn’t keep anyone out.
For someone who watches a lot of TV, @realDonaldTrump should know that even the @GameOfThrones wall isn’t a panacea by the end of Season 7.

This is literally the worst piece of culture to reference possible. Realize many Republicans hate culture, but hasn’t anybody in the admin seen the most popular show on cable?

Seriously though, has someone told him what happens to the Wall in GoT?

The wall crashed down in GOT! Do your research before you use metaphors. Your Wall is crashing down before it’s even built too.
