The team reportedly met with Obama for nearly an hour.
Traditionally, championship teams typically visit the White House when traveling to the nation’s capital. However, the Warriors have had tense relations in the past with Trump, who disinvited the team to the White House in 2017.
At the time, Trump had publicly rescinded the invitation to the team after star player Stephen Curry said he probably would not attend.
“Going to the White House is considered a great honor for a championship team,” Trump tweeted then. “Stephen Curry is hesitating, therefore invitation is withdrawn!”

Instead of the White House visit, the Warriors decided to tour the National Museum of African American History and Culture with students from Kevin Durant’s nearby hometown for the second year in a row.
It was unclear where the meeting with Obama took place.
Nancy Pelosi also invited Golden State to the Capitol for the second year in a row.
