North Carolina Trump Supporter Says Criticizing Donald Trump is the ‘Definition of Treason’

A few Trump supporters were interviewed in a North Carolina diner by Fox & Friends said it was “next to treason” for people to criticize Donald Trump.

Fox & Friends interviewed patrons of a Dunn, North Carolina diner about the heated Oval Office clash between Trump, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, and one man had choice words for the Democratic leaders.

“They’re a couple of buffoons,” diner Bob told Fox & Friends. “All they want to do is increase their own power and disparage the president.”

“What do you say when people call this president, President Trump, unpresidential?” asked Fox News host Todd Piro asked.

“I think it’s next to treason,” Bob replied. “I think they need to support the president no matter who he is. All this current group of Democrats is doing is providing aid and comfort to our enemies. And last I heard that was the definition of treason.”

Another diner named Cathy, who claimed to be a government contractor, told reporter Todd Piro that she supports a government shutdown “even though it would hurt me financially.”

“We need the wall,” she explained. “There are so many people trying to bust down our wall and come into our country illegally. It’s not that we don’t want them, we do want them but we want them to come legally so we can see that they are here for the right purposes and not a terrorist or something. We need that wall.”

Another Republican voter willing to support a party that is against her own self-interests, surprise!
