Kellyanne Conway Just Slammed Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Intelligence, ‘She Doesn’t Know Much About Anything’

Kellyanne Conway just insulted Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez‘s intelligence in an interview on Tuesday in retaliation for a “slur” the congresswoman-elect recently made about John Kelly.

Conway spoke to Fox News’ Bill Hemmer in an interview that mostly gravitated around the question of who will Donald Trump pick to replace Kelly as White House Chief of Staff. As Conway sang Kelly’s praises for his years of public service, the conversation took a turn when she grumbled over the “nonsense” about him from critics and from “this 29-year-old congresswoman who don’t seem to know much about anything.”

“Really embarrassing, and for her to even use a slur against him yesterday – I won’t repeat her name or the slur – but let me stand up for General John Kelly. He has done a magnificent job for this country for almost 50 years.”

It isn’t clear what “slur” Conway was talking about, though the latest headlines about Ocasio-Cortez and Kelly might hold a clue. Ocasio-Cortez recently accused Kelly of “cowardice” for refusing to apologize to Congresswoman Frederica Wilson over a feud they had last year.

The dispute began when Wilson criticized Trump after listening in on how he unsympathetically spoke to a constituent of hers whose husband was killed during a military mission in Niger. As Wilson and Trump attacked each other over this, Kelly got into the mix by claiming Wilson used a 2015 speech to brag that she obtained millions of dollars to fund an FBI office in Florida.

Footage from the speech shows that Wilson never said any such thing, but Kelly has refused to apologize for his false statements about her.
