WATCH: Mike Pence Is Humiliated After Comparing Himself To Oprah, ‘I’m A Big Deal Too!’

The race for governor in Georgia is shockingly close. Democrat Stacey Abrams is running in a statistical dead heat with Republican Secretary of State Brian Kemp. If she wins, Abrams would be the first female African American governor in the country. In the closing days of the campaign, big names have traveled to Georgia to drum up support for their respective candidates.

Vice President Mike Pence is among those who in Georgia stumping for Kemp. Pence wants to be clear, he is a big deal. In fact, since Oprah Winfrey is also in Georgia supporting Abrams, Pence wants to be sure people do not forget, that he is as big as Oprah.

Pence went to Georgia on Thursday, making three appearances in strongly conservative areas. During his appearances, the Vice President went after Abrams and the support she has received from people outside of the state, particularly from people in Hollywood. Abrams will appear with Oprah in a pair of town hall meetings on Thursday.

During an appearance Thursday, the Vice President claimed that Abrams is “bankrolled by Hollywood liberals.” The Vice President continued, making sure the crowd was fully aware that he is indeed a very “big deal.” He said, “I’d like to remind Stacey and Oprah and Will Ferrell, I’m kind of a big deal, too.” He added, “And I’ve got a message for all of Stacey Abrams’ liberal Hollywood friends: This ain’t Hollywood. This is Georgia. And Georgia wants a governor that’s going to put Georgia values and Georgia first. And Brian Kemp is going to do just that.”

Pence’s goal in Georgia is to encourage conservative turnout in Tuesday’s midterm election. To that end, Pence tied Kemp to the president, arguing that a vote for Kemp is a vote for Trump. The Georgia governor’s race has been clouded by voter suppression efforts coming from Kemp’s office.
