Ted Nugent Lashes Out At Home State of Michigan Calling It A ‘California Sh*thole’ Following Dem Wins

Ted Nugent is famous both as a musician and as an angry conservative who enjoys railing against liberals. The 69-year-old musician is originally from Michigan, a state that saw Democratic gains in Tuesday’s midterm elections. Nugent is, not surprisingly, angry about the election results in his home state.

In Michigan, Democrat Gretchen Whitmer beat Republican Attorney General Bill Schuette for the Governorship. Schuette was endorsed by President Trump. Also endorsed by the president, Republican John James lost his race for Senate. Senator Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) was able to keep her seat. Michigan also elected one of the country’s first Muslim women, Rashida Tlaib to the House of Representatives, also a Democrat.

Nugent took to Facebook on Wednesday to complain. He whined on Facebook writing, “Real God country family Michiganiacs are heartbroke that more of us want the once great state of Michigan to turn into a California s***hole.” He added, “Downright insane cultural suicide. Thanks for nothing a**holes.”

Nugent’s message connected with other conservatives who joined him in complaining about Michigan’s election. One Facebook user wrote, “John James is a fine man and would have served Michigan with dignity, pride, and dedication. The disease of progressivism marches on…”

Another Facebook user wrote, “Mind blowing and saddening, Uncle Ted. Great states like Michigan turning this way. These people deserve the California disaster they’re voting for. Unfortunately, we reap the damage done by these brain dead sheep.”

Another Facebook user took a slightly different approach, calling on Nugent himself to run for office in Michigan. That Facebook user posted, “Actually Ted, i blame you. you could have moved back home, ran for governor and swept the state. as a conservative republican.”

Nugent does not limit his complaining to the political arena. In October he also whined about the fact that he has not been included in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. In an interview with the online magazine My Global Mind, Nugent said, “Abandon egos, bragging, and Ted Nugent speaking on behalf of Ted Nugent; is it or is it not vulgar, dishonest, and obscene that Grand Master Flash, Patti Smith, and ABBA are in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame but Ted “F***ing” Nugent isn’t? Is that the most outrageous and disgusting lie you have ever seen?”
